Over the course of these pilot activities, workshops and landscape studies, a narrative was woven to the scale of the Vallée de la Vilaine, its warp and weft comprised of all the different relationships between stakeholders and local inhabitants who took part in and supported the project.
Like local users of the site, this network became an intrinsic part of the landscaping project, identifying the uses and activities that deserved to be promoted and highlighting the issues to be taken into consideration, particularly questions of governance and activities in the area. It was largely thanks to this network that the development plan evolved into a project covering the whole region, as community, cultural, economic, tourism and environmental proposals were added to its remit.
